About Arconic-Köfém
Arconic-Köfém Mill Products Hungary Kft. employs approximately 700 people across its rolling mill, casthouse, and business support departments. The operation supports several global Arconic businesses and is fully committed to responsible, safe operations in close cooperation with customers, suppliers, and the community.
The casthouse produces rolling ingots and round cross-section billets for extrusion and forging, using a variety of aluminum alloys.
The rolling mill manufactures a wide range of rolled products, including sheet, plate, coil, disc, tread plate, and brazing products for various customers and industries. The primary markets served include automotive, construction, machinery, packaging, electrical products, household products, and transportation.
Arconic-Köfém exports over 90% of its products, primarily to Western European countries, while meeting the highest quality standards.
The plant received the ASI Performance Standard certification from the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative, recognizing its commitment to sustainability.
Our Quality, Environmental and Energy Management Systems
The quality management system was certified according to ISO 9001 in 1992. Since 2000, the rolled products and since 2003, the casthouse have been certified as automotive suppliers. In addition to automotive certifications, Köfém’s casthouse was certified under the AS9100 C standard in 2012 as an aerospace supplier.
In compliance with Arconic’s global policies, we operate in a responsible and sustainable manner, prioritizing environmental protection, sustainable growth, and health and safety of our employees. Our environmental and energy management systems were certified to ISO 14001 since 2000 and ISO 50001 since 2015.
