Arconic Foundation

Arconic Foundation partners with nonprofit and community organizations to enhance education through skill-building learning experiences and advance environmental sustainability. Arconic Foundation is independently endowed and invests in the communities of Arconic Corporation.

In nearly every community around the world in which Arconic has a major presence, a local Arconic Foundation Ambassador works on behalf of Arconic Foundation, partnering with charitable organizations to collaboratively strengthen our communities and advance the Foundation’s mission. The work of Arconic Foundation is further enhanced by the thousands of Arconic employee volunteers who share their talents and time to make a difference in their communities.

  • Environmental Sustainability: Arconic Foundation seeks partnerships to protect the natural environment, increase recycling, and ensure a sustainable future.
  • Human Needs: Arconic Foundation seeks partnerships to meet the basic needs of people in our communities. Focus areas include food security, health, housing, community safety, and disaster relief. Please note that this funding priority is applicable to Location Grantmaking only.

Investment Approach

Nonprofit partnerships are selected based on the funding priorities and local needs. Arconic Foundation is funded through an independent endowment and invests in specific priority communities. Priority communities are those in which Arconic Corporation has a significant presence.

Arconic Foundation conducts grantmaking at two levels, Signature and Location. Signature grantmaking is typically multi-community, regional, or national in scope. Location grantmaking includes organizations operating programs within or near a single priority community.

When considering grant opportunities, Arconic Foundation seeks grant projects that:

  • Produce measurable results.
  • Incorporate financial sustainability.
  • Include employee engagement opportunities.
  • Promote visibility through an effective communications strategy.
  • Demonstrate commitment to equitable opportunities for all.
