University of Alabama Birmingham’s new Science and Engineering Complex is a 138,842 sq. ft. facility with advanced labs, research suites and common areas. The project is a key part of UAB’s ‘Forging Ahead’ strategic plan to ensure the health, prosperity, and quality of life of students and fellow citizens. 
 
Reynobond® Composite Material was chosen for the exterior, due to the ease with which it seamlessly integrates with curtain wall, its excellent design flexibility and impressive strength-to-weight ratio. 
 
Abrams Architectural Products fabricated and installed 48,349 sq. ft. of our Reynobond® 4mm FR Composite Material in Colorweld® 500 Anodic Clear, framing the building’s understated architecture and tying in with its downtown location.
