Marcelo Morgueta is Vice President, Finance and Treasurer at Arconic Corporation. In this role, he leads the Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Shared Services and Treasury functions.
In addition to responsibility for global treasury activities, Marcelo is responsible for the company’s annual planning, monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts and multi-year plans. He manages company-wide processes and systems for forecasting and modeling, provides forward-looking financial guidance and supports strategic investment decisions by establishing structure and thresholds for capital allocations.
Marcelo also leads the company’s financial shared services organization, which includes approximately 115 employees across the United States, Hungary and China, who manage the company’s credit, payables, accounting, financial systems and payroll. He develops and drives global finance and accounting policies and procedures across the organization, including all financial shared services internal controls compliance.
Prior to the company separation in 2020, Marcelo served as Chief Financial Officer of Global Rolled Products and Transportation and Construction Solutions, which were two of three business segments comprising the former parent company, Arconic Inc. He led the team responsible for forecasting, reporting, financial controls, compliance, and consolidation of the group’s business units, partnering with the Group President to set strategic financial direction, performance benchmarks and key financial, productivity and operational metrics.
Marcelo joined the company in 2005, and advanced through roles of progressive responsibility across business segments, both in Brazil and the United States. Prior to these roles, Marcelo was an auditor at Deloitte and BDO.
Marcelo holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance, Audit and Controllership from UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista), and Fundação Getúlio Vargas, respectively, both prestigious universities in Brazil.
